今日は2025/1/2にグランドオープンしたTOBESORA TERRACEを訪問。お昼近くの時間帯だったので、（たびのはじまり：Café）でワッフルを、（シエロ　アズーロ　CIELO　AZZURRO　イタリア料理店）でカルボナーラを共同設計者の山口暁さんと一緒に堪能しました。施主施工で工事が行われたこともあり、計画後、２年半後の竣工になりました。

TOBESORA　TERRACEは砥部焼の販売と絵付け体験ができる砥部焼センター敷地内に新たな交流拠点として昨年整備されました。以前の駐車場の一部を中庭テラスとして整備し、イベント交流空間が新たに設けられました。（普段は２つの店舗のアウトドアテラスとして利用できます。）新たに増築された新設の建物部分によりコの字型の外部空間が形成され、歩者分離により家族でも安心して中庭テラスで寛ぐことができるようになりました。２Fのテラス席では山の眺望や中庭を見下ろしながら食事ができたり、イベント時には客席としても利用することができる空間となっています。お近くの際には是非お立ち寄り頂けたらと思います。

Today we visited TOBESORA TERRACE, which had its grand opening on 2025/1/2. As it was nearly lunchtime, we enjoyed waffles at (Tabi no Hajimari: Café) and carbonara at (CIELO AZZURRO Italian restaurant) with co-designer Akira Yamaguchi. TOBESORA TERRACE was built last year as a new exchange centre on the grounds of the Tobe Pottery Centre, where Tobe Pottery is sold and visitors can try their hand at painting. Part of the former parking lot was converted into a courtyard terrace and a new event exchange space was created. (It can normally be used as an outdoor terrace for the two shops.) The newly extended part of the building creates a U-shaped external space, where families can relax on the courtyard terrace in peace.The terrace on the second floor offers a space that can also be used as seating for events.
